Wedding Card

A Very Special Wedding Card for
A Very Special Couple -
My Son Andrew &
New Daughter In Law Rebecca

I selected a large 'Geographics' Australia Linen textured envelope #04902-Cream-Beige size is 9" x  6.375" approx, first and then cut my card base from Kaisercraft Cardstock in Ivory (CD602) to fit - then used Stampin Up Cardstock in Perfect Plum for the next layer.
The Striped Background was a sheet from COLORBOK-67694 Parsian Sky-12 inch Pack.
Using mostly Magnolia Stamps,  Tilda & Edwin as Wedding Couple,   Wishing Two
People Sentiment (Wedding Collection 2010)  &
Love Script Heart Shaped Stamp(Love Collection 2009).
A Hero Arts Stamp K5326 Heart Lace was used on the Ivory Cardstock using a Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and The Creative Stamp Collection Embossing Powder "Lavender" and then cut out by hand.
The images are coloured with Distress Inks -Tattered Rose for Skin, Black Soot for Suit & Shoes & Cane and Seedless Preserves for Tie & Flowers.

Then embelished with (Part) of Kaisercraft Pearl Flourish PL515
A Magnolia Heart 7" Strip Die is used to edge the left side and the couple are mounted on the largest Spellbinders Heart Circles Die from S4-316 - The 2 Perfect Plum hearts were die cut from the 2nd largest die in the Classic Heart Set S4-136.
The small heart punch outs from the strip die have been mounted along the right side.

Trimmed with matching organza 1/4" ribbon and 3mm cream satin ribbon used to tie
the Bronze Metal Heart purchased on ebay.

To complete the card, one coat of  Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist (PPM28352) was applied.

September Birthday

From the Kaisercraft Range - The Lakehouse

The base is cut from Brown Cardstock and measures 19.7cm x 30cm.
It was folded in half on the longside.
The Lime cardstock Triangle measures 13.5cm x 14.cm x 19.6cm
The Centre Panel measures 15cm wide x 14.7cm tall
Cut two strips at 4cm x 23cm and using the Cheery Lynn Border Carnivale Die # DL 129 cut out a full length on each using your Sizzix or Cuttlebug and then trim to size to edge center strip matching pattern on both sides.
Lay down your chosen piece of Patterned Cardstock on the top of Lime Cardstock, where you would prefer the pattern to show and mark the cutting lines.
Using 3 sizes ( #'s 2 - 3 & 4) of the Stampin Up Sizzix Framelits #125598 mount your sentiment on the card and finally trim with 3 matching pearls.

This was my mother's birthday card for May 2012 and each year it falls in line with mothers day.
The paper was taken from Prima A4 Paper Stack -       Nature Garden
Labels were cut from brown cardstock using MFT Dienamics Vintage Cameo Frame and pink cardstock using label die from Quickutz Wildflower set.
So here is the card I made her for Mothers' Day.
Both were Made using Kraft cardstock. The large flowers are from Manor House Creations and the tiny pink rosebuds & bling are Kaisercraft.
The patterned cardstock is
Echo Park - This & That Graceful - Flower Vine which is doublesided and I have used each side.
Both sections of the label are Stampin Up punches. Underneath the flowers is a brown cardstock doiley punched from Memory Box Marietta Buckle # 98220.

As with most of my projects  I use Walnut Stain distress ink sponged on the edges.
This is a very beautiful card for an 80th Birthday, I made this for a friend after the brief stated pink and whatever I choose.
I have used Christina Rea brown card stock for the base of card 8.5 x 8.25 inches folded in half on the 8.25 side. Then cut a piece of Stampin Up Very Vanilla 3.75 x 8.25 inches and added the sentiment to the exact centre. Again even with the bulkiness of the flowers it will fit into a DL envelope snuggly.
I have then used 2 pieces of pink cardstock at 3.875 x 2.5 inches and run through my Cuttlebug using the cut & emboss folder from Cuttlebug # 2000255 Chic Circle Frame.
Then Distress Ink with Walnut Stain the edges of pink & vanilla and over the front of pink cut outs very gently. The card has been assembled using the Memory Box Style No 808 Small Tilda Swirl cut from brown cardstock in a darker shade than the base underneath the burgandy flowers. The 80 numbers were cut using Sizzix Shadow Box.
This picture does the card an injustice and in reality everybody really admired it.
The Wishing you a Wonderful Birthday is from Stamp-it Australia called Wishing Birthday #4643D it is a beautiful stamp which I use on many of my cards. Enjoy!

Birthday Card No.4

For this card I have used Stampin Up Textured Cardstock in Rose Red cut to 8" Wide x 8.25 " Long then scored in half at 4" on the Wide Side. This card will then fit into a standard DL envelope.
Cut a piece of American Crafts Dear Lizzys Spring Lazy Ladybug cardstock to measure 8" by 3.75"  and ink edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen, then adhere to top of card.
Cut a piece of Stampin Up Cardstock in Rose Red to measure 4.125" by 5.25" from this cut out the Stampin Up - Sizzix 'Top Note' die. Then back the space left with white cardstock trimming to match all the edges, cut the completed rectangle in half exactly down the centre and adhere one piece to card top over patterned cardstock centering on the right hand side as shown in the following picture.

I have used Stampin Up Rose Red Ink and embossed with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder on the Happy Birthday Stamp  from Verve Stamps - Plain Jane # VS-10-PJ034.
Finally I have added 4 x 5mm Hot Pink Pearls and from the patterned cardstock scrap I have chosen a nicely shaped flower to cut out, ink as above and mount using foam dots to top left of top note die cut shaping.
I am sure this would also be very effective in another colour if you are not a pink fan.
Enjoy!
